Hey, my name’s Ayse!
Welcome, I am so glad you are here. I am Culinary Institute LeNotre graduated pastry chef. I have work experience at Common Bond Cafe and River Oaks Country Club. The name Layla comes from my mom who passed away in 2018. She was a great cook and she taught me many great things. I grew up by the seaside, in a small town near the Aegean Sea between Greece and Turkey. From my childhood, I remember big gatherings under olive trees and celebrating the coming of seasons with my family and friends. We were eating seasonal fresh fish, fresh vegetables and fruits. Since then, I follow a simple rule in my kitchen: I always use seasonal and fresh local food. And I am very passionate about baking and cooking.
